We are very aware of the need to respect the privacy and dignity of our residents. We also aim to encourage our residents to be as independent as they are able.

Friends and family are welcome to join the residents and spend time in the relaxed atmosphere of Moorlands Residential Home.

We have a dedicated activities co-ordinator who provides the residents with varied and stimulating daily activities and also arranges outings. 

In addition there are weekly hairdresser visits and chiropody services are provided in-house by visiting specialists.

Once we have accepted a permanent resident, we aim to offer them a home for the rest of their life. Only a requirement for specialist nursing care or hospitalisation will prevent this.
